Our Staff

Jason Harris (Campus Minister)

Jason is married to Ashley and is the proud father of Luke in addition to being the campus minister for RUF at Northwestern.  He grew up in Connecticut and attended Princeton University where he received his Bacheolor of Arts and met his wife.  Upon graduation from college Jason worked as a sales analyst at an investment bank in New York City before returning to school to earn a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.  Jason graduated from seminary in 2005 and moved to Chicago to begin the ministry of RUF at Northwestern.  Jason enjoys a good book, a good meal, and a good game of basketball and has a tendency to inadvertently break things.  Jason can be reached at jharris@ruf.org or 847-732-7795.

Ashley Harris (Staff)

Ashley grew up in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago and received her Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and her J.D. from Columbia Law School.  Ashley joined the staff of RUF at Northwestern in June 2006 and loves going out for coffee, walking the "lakefill" and traveling to exciting destinations.  Despite her gentle demeanor, Ashley is a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court and can out-fish her husband any day of the week.  Ashley can be reached at aharris@ruf.org or 847-732-7528.

Eric Meckley (Intern)

Eric is an RUF campus intern at Northwestern.  He grew up in the gritty coal mining hills of northwestern Pennsylvania before moving at the awkward age of 13 to the dolorous cornfields of northern Indiana.  He graduated in June of 2007 from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Fundamentals: Issues and Texts, a major that takes a good deal of explaining, but by and large basically taught him to read and write.  Eric lettered in football all four years at the University.  He is an amateur expert in a number of subjects, including Russian literature, the 3-3-5 defense, typewriter maintenance, baseball trivia, and the writings of Hunter S. Thompson.  He also enjoys books, sports, writing letters, and going to concerts.  Eric can be reached at emeckley@ruf.org or 574-849-8853.

Randi Meyer (Intern)

Randi, a Tennessee native, is the newest addition to RUF at Northwestern.  She grew up in Memphis and spent her college years at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  There she majored in "College Scholars," a rocking major through which she was able to study a combination of German language and visual arts.  During her senior year at UT, Randi married her wonderful husband, Josh.  Randi spends her free time hanging out with Josh, taking naps, doing photography, and enjoying the outdoors.  She is really looking forward to living in the same city as an Urban Outfitters but not looking forward to winters that last until March.  Randi can be reached at rmeyer@ruf.org or 901-359-3599
