What is the deal with Satan? I thought we were responsible for our own sins-- how can we hold someone else responsible for them? But at the same time, Jesus is tempted in the desert by the devil-- so what do we do with that?

Contrary to what we usually imagine when we think of important or successful leaders and heroes, Christianity follows someone who suffered and died. Why did Jesus have to die? Why was his ministry so short?

Is the only way to God through Christianity? If so, is it impossible to have spiritual encounters with someone who was not Christian? What happens to the 'souls' of people who aren't Christian?

I think it is sad when Christians act in un-Christ-like ways, and it bothers me that there is hypocrisy within the Church. But, as a believer, I do not let these things prevent me from believing the Gospel. What would you say to someone for whom hypocrisy is a major hurdle preventing them from believing in Christianity?
